Some people play purely for PvP, because PvP gameplay is their style, simple as that, it fights off the boredom. The intent of most pirates who attack others, is to either steal your treasure, or just have fun fighting. Not just sabotage, but sabotage intended to cause grief. Griefing is defined as sabotage that is INTENDED to cause people to feel grief. Even less actually causes a transfer of loot possession. I contend that about 5% of pvp is done with loot even being a consideration. I want those players out there because if they aren't out there then progression would be boring.Įven in this super long post u have yet to explain or give examples of the game “not recognizing pvp” so in conclusion u have no idea what ur talking about and just dont like people stealing from said in Sea of course you can acquire loot in pvp. ![]() It's usually done out of boredom or players that choose to play that way. All I'm saying is that it needs to be called what it is. I am not condemning it or calling it a reportable act. There is no honor in attacking a ship that wants no part in pvp. If someone's at my OOS island and I don't want them taking my skulls.ok. I don't relish or brag about it because for the most part it's griefing. I want those players out there because if they aren't out there then progression would be said in Sea of course you can acquire loot in pvp. So let's stop hiding behind it as a tactic for people that are actually trying to progress in the game. Common sense, right? Well pvp is far less efficient than that. There are a few ideas that everyone else that plays the game for any period of time has learned if you want to level up efficiently:ĭon't do riddles, don't do souls islands with 1 or 2 captains, and be picky about merchant voyages. I'm not some timid safe space preaching wallflower.
